First Ten Years of GST

The First Ten Years of GST workshop will be held March 12-14, 2019 at the New Jersey Institute of Technology (NJIT) in Newark, NJ. The workshop will bring together scientists from GST partner institutions to exhibit scientific discovery with high resolution data, share experience with GST data reduction and analysis, brainstorm GST next generation instrumentation, exploit observing campaigns with other ground-based facilities, pave the way for ground-based observations to support space missions, and pursue future collaborations in scientific research.

SOC: Wenda Cao (Chair, NJIT), Jongchul Chae (SNU), Yuangyong Deng (NAOC), Yeon-Han Kim (KASI), Haisheng Ji (PMO), Haimin Wang (NJIT), Vasyl Yurchyshyn (BBSO).

LOC: Cheryl James (NJIT), Erika Norro (BBSO)

Call for Speakers

We are inviting speakers who used GST or other high-resolution data to address long standing problems of solar physics such as coronal heating, generation of small-scale magnetic fields, small-scale dynamics, as well as origin of solar eruptions. Presentations will likely be between 20 to 30 minutes long.

Abstract Submission and Registration

Registration fee is $150 (Includes coffee/tea breaks, lunches on all three meeting days, and one conference dinner). Use this secure online tool to pay your registration fee and the banquet cost.

Note that abstract submissions with a non-registered presenting author will not be included in the final program.

To submit your presentation and/or register to attend, please use this secure online form (you will be taken to an external website).
